HiddenSignals Part 1/2

HiddenSignals is proposed to materialize and challenge the limits of human perception in art practice.

Using design/construction technics and useing of reverse engineering of industrial devices for analysis, transmission and listening visible or audible frequencies, the electromagnetic spectrum will be used as a creative resource within the research or artistic practice.

Participants will build a series of devices that modulate the unseen / unknown phenomenæ, materializing the results in different media or devices.

Observe the invisible city around us, we will grasp natural environmental signals, electromagnetic fields, inaudible, wireless technologies running at 2.4 GHz, radio waves, FM / AM, ultrasound, wireless networks, translocal space diffusion VLF, VHF, UHF , photo-electric solar cells and will practice with light-sensitive diodes for detection and differentiation of different wavelengths in the visible spectrum transformed sound.
